Anne
Harrison has taught for the past 25
years in Toronto and Montreal. She has been studying
drawing, painting and sculpture and creating her own artwork in
Toronto and Mexico for over 20 years.
Anne
loves alternative tourism, and has journeyed extensively in
Europe, India, Thailand, Malaysia, Nepal, and Central America.
Rather than merely being a tourist, Anne has enjoyed
experiencing the local flavour wherever she has travelled.
She has cycled through the Greek Islands, Ireland, France, and
Italy, and hiked across Britain, in northern Thailand, and in
Nepal. For Anne, the combination of art and travel is the
fulfillment of a lifelong dream that successfully
expresses her belief in the importance of the travel experience
as part of lifelong learning.
Artourotravels was born out of
Anne's love of unconventional travel and her desire to share
this wonderful experience with other like-minded individuals.
What better way to really see a country than to have the
opportunity to sit and draw its people, its architecture and its
landscapes?
